Job Description

Omtex ICWC Cricket Institute is seeking an experienced and passionate Fast Bowling Coach to help develop the next generation of pace bowlers. The coach will work within a professional residential cricket environment and contribute to a high-performance programme focused on producing future champions.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Fast Bowling Coach or competitive fast-bowling background.
• Strong understanding of pace-bowling technique, biomechanics and workload management.
• Relevant cricket coaching qualification or certification preferred.
• Ability to coach and mentor young cricketers in a residential academy setting.
• Excellent communication, observation and player-management skills.
• Willingness to work full-time and reside within the institute’s coaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured fast-bowling coaching sessions for players across development levels.
• Develop players’ bowling action, pace, accuracy, swing, seam movement, variations and match awareness.
• Guide players on workload management, injury prevention and safe bowling practices.
• Work closely with strength and conditioning, physiotherapy and coaching teams to support player development.
• Assess player performance, provide individual feedback and maintain development plans.
• Prepare bowlers for competitive matches, trials and tournaments.
• Foster discipline, confidence, professionalism and a strong team culture.

Ability to coach and mentor young cricketers in a residential academy setting.
