Job Description

Looking for a passionate and experienced Shooting Coach to train and mentor athletes across different skill levels. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of shooting sports, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop athletes through structured and progressive training programs.

Requirements
• Prior experience as a Shooting Coach / Shooting Instructor is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shooting techniques, rules, safety protocols, and competition formats.
• Experience in Rifle, Pistol, or Shotgun disciplines will be an advantage.
• Relevant coaching certification such as NRAI / NIS / ISSF or equivalent is preferred.
• Competitive shooting experience at State, National, or higher level will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and athlete-management skills.
• Ability to work with athletes of different age groups and skill levels.
• Strong sense of responsibility towards athlete and equipment safety.

Preferred Candidate Profile: A disciplined, patient, enthusiastic, and performance-oriented professional who is passionate about developing shooters and helping athletes achieve their sporting goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular shooting training sessions for beginners, intermediate, and competitive-level athletes.
• Develop structured and individualised training plans based on each athlete’s skill level and goals.
• Teach proper shooting techniques, stance, posture, breathing, aiming, trigger control, and shot execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to shooting range safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate athlete performance, scores, technique, and overall progress.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions and athlete performance.
• Handle and maintain shooting equipment responsibly and ensure proper equipment safety and upkeep.
